This thesis deals with the topic "A brief overview of the Arabic and Finnish language in the field of phonology". First, the relationship of Arabic and Finnish with other languages and their development will be concentrated. The main part of this work is the actual comparison between the Arabic and Finnish languages in the field of phonology. The Arabic language is known to contain numerous different forms. One compares the classical with the modern language, so one finds that it is imprinted several dialects. Although the majority of these dialects are regarded as a means of communicating to many Arabic-speaking people and do not lose their resonance, dialects count to spoken language or to the satisfaction of everyday situations. Almost every Arabic dialect has its own character, which differs very much from country to country. e.g. Two Arabic speakers (Saudi Arabia and Algeria) can hardly understand each other when they use their own dialect. Starting from the above points is the High Arabic language official language of the Arab world. The Finnish language is one of the Finno-Ugric languages spoken in Finland and minorities in Sweden and Russia by about five million people. Finnish is closely related to the Estonian and remotely related to the Sami and Hungarian languages. The fact is that the Finnish language has a complex system. Arabic and Finnish are very different from each other. While you are writing from left to right in Finnish, you have to write in Arabic from right to left and read. For the end, the most important points are summarized. The researcher extends his sincere thanks and appreciation to the Research Center of the Faculty of Languages and Translation and the Deanship of Scientific Research at King Saud University for the financial support provided for this research.
