Abstract

The subject of the study is the poetic text (fox does not eat wheat) by the poet Nassar Abdullah, it is a poetry text within a collection of poetic texts contained in his poetry (poems for young and old)
The research depends on the study of the text structural study to determine its elements and components in order to monitor the coalition and the difference in which this genre was agreed with other literary genres such as (the story)
It has been proven through the applied study on this literary text that the literary genre is flexible and in a dynamic state that makes it open to other literary genres. This poetic text has been linked with other literary genres: the story whose elements were achieved in the text through the presence of characters, space, As well as ( the play) whose elements were achieved in the conflict and dialogue along with elements of the poetic text, the most important of which is rhythm and image. These three literary genres also agreed on the symbolic character of the idea.
