Gianni Rodari Political-social commitment between the lines of fantasy

In the present work on Gianni Rodari, we try to present an analysis and a particular vision of the writer's thought, his narrative work, and his poetics.
The author's ideological beliefs and literary production are always inseparable and are always supported by trust and tenacity. Precisely for this reason, the particular fantasy that Rodari uses in inventing stories seems to be the most convincing expression of his political interest and of his didactic and educational renewal.
Our aim will be to reconstruct the profile of an intellectual and a versatile artist to show that he is a committed writer, much richer and more complex than is commonly believed.
Alongside Rodari's particular pedagogical sensitivity, there is a constant political-social commitment through which the writer draws the reasons for universal validity such as the ideals of freedom, justice, solidarity, peace, recurring in all his works.
