The aim of the research is to study the role of social media in epidemiological literature during the Corona pandemic, its impact on the Chinese society, and how literature was able to address this phenomenon. The researcher used the method of content analysis to analyze literary work. The researcher analyzed how Fu Xiuying documented that crucial period in the history of China, and how social media played an important role in the lives of the Chinese people during the pandemic with social distancing imposed on them. Social media platforms has been one of the main means through which they could communicate, spread positive energy and hope for a better future, etc. The writer also reflected on how social media is a double-edged weapon: despite its positive impact during the pandemic; however, the too much information that go viral through it has also had a negative impact on the Chinese people.
