This research deals with the methods used by the Chinese to teach children about COVID-19. The researcher presented these methods in pictures, comics, stories and children’s poetry, providing examples for each of them. The researcher analyzes the language used in the methods, which was characterized by simplicity, suspense, and how they respect the child’s mentality and intelligence. The research shows how the language was careful not to frighten the child without underestimating the pandemic at the same time, and explained to him why he was suddenly deprived of going out and doing normal activities. The language was keen to instill into the child confidence in the ability of those concerned with eliminating the virus, making him grateful to those in the front lines. Finally, the research concludes that the Chinese experience in educating children about COVID-19 was a successful experience.
