Abstract

In order to study the narrative instance of the narrator, in the novel The Conjugal happiness by Tahar Benjelloun: published in 2012; we will propose the application of the narratological approach of Vincent Jouve while taking inspiration from Gérard Genette.
It is by noting the two versions of the introspective novel The Conjugal happiness that we think we can analyze: on the one hand, the duality of the narratological scene of this double-voiced novel. On the other hand, the eternal duel, the infernal war, and the atrocious confrontation between the two protagonists are reflected in the narrative space, while taking into account the sensitivity and creativity with which the narrators have presented authenticity with which human nature is related.
