Abstract

In this research we highlight the motivations for Islamistic extremism on the basis of an individual case and connect them with the failed utopias of the 68ers in Germany. The novel focuses on the phenomenon of the "homemade terrorists" who grew from the soil of European societies.
This research deals with the title of the novel, its theme, the two main characters, who seem to represent different ways of thinking, place and time, where the novel takes place the end of the work, where you expect to find answers to the many questions you have, and the language, structure and narrative perspective of the novel.
The novel is unusually sober and has resolved extremely different opinions, which corresponds to its controversial and topical theme.
