Our research is a study of the narratology of the movie "Living Kills Me". It is according to the categorization established by Gérard Genette and concerning the order (anticipation and retrospection) the velocity (the rapidity or the slowness) of the narration and the frequency (The iterative, the repetitive, and the singular), which we have tried to see if the theory is valid for filmic narration or not. In this regard, we must not forget Christian Metz who was the first to highlight the grammar of this language and its many dimensions, psychological, sociological or cultural.
