This study introduces the reader to the importance of re-reading historical civilization and interpret the Ugaritic ancient epic poem of king Keret (1500 – 1200BC ) by analysing the ancient Ugaritic cuneiform script semantically and compare it with other semitic languages and emphasis the importance of retranslating and reconstructing the context specially the epic of Keret that has been interpreted from European linguistics and scholars based on biblical studies only although the reconstruction of the epic language through this study was proved to be the nearest language to the proto-semitic languages particularly classical Arabic in addition to innumerable Akkadian and Arabic and Hebrew words such as numbers, nature word , verbs…etc.
