This article focuses on the innovative pedagogical practices that a teacher can use to develop the oral skills of his students (from the University of Imam), who have just started learning the French language. We first proposed various definitions of the concept of innovation, presenting its different forms and characteristics, its typologies and we then described some forms of innovation in pedagogy, via the contributions of new technologies (web 4.0, introduction to TBI ...) and we have implemented examples of innovative teaching practices, including rethinking student presentation and engagement rituals, teaching students to develop oral projects using new technologies, such as to present celebrities who have received the Nobel Prize or also to teach a language course by song.
