Abstract

Theatre is one of the literary forms that played an important role in expressing society and its issues. Among the World Theatres, Kabuki is accompanied by an orchestra that plays traditional Japanese tunes. I want to open a new field of scientific research, not only for Arab researchers but also for theatre specialists in general.
In kabuki, onnagata refers to actors who specialize in playing the following types of roles. On the use of onnagata and the significance of their performance, Onnagata refers to the actors who play the roles of young women in kabuki, their positions, and the style of performance itself.
This research deals with the study and analysis of the reception of kabuki theatre in other cultures, and the reactions in foreign cultures towards this kind of rather strange drama. Theatrical performance through the investigations contained in this research, consists of three main sections as mentioned below.
