The research discussed the importance of translation, especially literary translation, and the role of effective translator for the rapprochement between different cultures and cultures. The research presented four models of literary translation between Arabic and German, and vice versa: two literary translation models from Arabic to German: Doris Kleias and Hartmut Vandrich, where they presented a scientific approach to literary translation from Arabic to German based on comprehensiveness, Expression of content, diversity of literary translations, translation and sense of translated work.
The research also presented two examples of literary translation from German to Arabic: Abdul Ghaffar Makkawi and Baher Al-Gohary. The first translated most of the books of German philosophers of the Arabic language as well as Goethe and introduced Baher al-Gohary translations of German novels contemporary.
The most important results of the research: literary translation between German and Arabic and vice versa an important role of the rapprochement and communication and coexistence between cultures and civilizations.
