Abstract

The transformation process in chinese-arabic trnslation unavoidably contains "points of untranslatability" excercised by arabic translators, in terms of intercultural differences included within the texts, which mainly belong to the "Literary texts". In this paper I approched this topic from two perspectives; the first one is the linguistc approach, by this I meant the most obvious notion of "Lingustic" material, contained in morphology, syntax, vocabulary and symantics; the second element in analysis pointed sharply to the notion of "Intercultural content" which is supposed to shape the second essential part of educational texts, laid to the hands of the arabic scholars, known as "Elementary chinese texts". In this paper I touched upon the topic using the general tone of analytical approch, as it`s known in the sphere of academic writings as "Descripitve method", with this I tackled the main problem of this paper, and finally managed to reach pragmatic conclusions, that may contribute in depicting the outlines of "Standard educational (lingustic/Intercultural) content" intended to be used for teaching arab scholars in translation chinese into arabic.
