Two of the most important women in Caproni’s life and poetry are Olga, the young fiancée who died few days before the wedding and Rina, the future wife. This research aims to feature the relationship between the two women through analysing two poems that have the same title: Dawn. The researcher used the descriptive analytic method to analyse both poems. When having a look on the whole poetry of Caproni, the result is that the symbols of Olga progressively give the meaning of a deadly and destructive condition. These symbols don’t emphasize a personal connotation, while the symbols of Rina are being widely used by Caproni to express the dawn of a new life.
